Postal chaos
Over the festive period, we were inundated with emails about missing or delayed post from the Royal Mail. This has been an issue for some time and the local councillors have raised it with senior managers in the company on multiple occasions. It is now out of hand so we are launching a campaign on it with Helen Hayes MP.
Help us by sharing your experiences with the post on our survey here: surveymonkey.co.uk/r/royal_mail_2022.

Keeping East Dulwich clean
Tomorrow (the 18th of January) at 7pm, we are hosting a community meeting to discuss keeping East Dulwich clean. We will hear from cabinet member Cllr Darren Merrill and senior council officers. We want to hear from residents about how we can improve our waste and cleaning services.

Low traffic neighbourhoods
Following our lobbying, the council is making some changes to the Dulwich low traffic neighbourhoods. We hope that these will protect the best elements of the scheme while addressing some of the weaknesses. James’s wrote an article about this in SE22 magazine. If you don't have a paper copy, read it online: https://semagazines.co.uk/
Supporting refugees and asylum seekers
James visited Southwark Day Centre for Asylum Seekers (SDCAS) with his fellow London marathon runners and the Mayor of Southwark. Together they raised over £10,000, with James raising £2670.
